Method for amination of alcohol

A method for the amination of an alcohol comprising contacting the alcohol with NH 3 and H 2 in the presence of a catalyst is described. A method of preparing metallic ruthenium nanoparticles of controllable size and the use of metallic ruthenium nanoparticles as catalyst for the amination of an alcohol with NH 3 and furthermore are described.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'amination d'un alcool consistant à mettre en contact l'alcool avec NH 3 et H 2 en présence d'un catalyseur. L'invention concerne également un procédé de préparation de nanoparticules métalliques de ruthénium de taille apte à être contrôlée et l'utilisation de nanoparticules métalliques de ruthénium en tant que catalyseur pour l'amination d'un alcool à l'aide de NH 3.
