This article brings thoughts on two aspects of methodological models. On one hand, it refers to the influence of the background on methodological choices. On the other hand, it deals with the means by which a method, and its literature, is adopted in order to successfully lead both personal and academic researches. More precisely, as the study of the types of discourses implies different methodological choices, the means suggested by methodological models vary and have to be adapted by each researcher.
