Insight, Stigma et Auto-stigmatisation : l’intime conviction appliquée aux patients schizophrènes hospitalisés au sein d’un hôpital psychiatrique sécurisé

The clinical insight is a multidimensional concept with positive and negative consequences among schizophrenic patients. Self-stigma seems mediatize relation between insight and depression. Forensic psychiatric patients are particularly vulnerable to stigma associated with mental disorders and also the criminal history. The purpose of this research is to study the relationship between insight, self-stigma, self-esteem, adherence and depression among schizophrenic patients hospitalized in a forensic hospital.
L’insight clinique est un concept multidimensionnel ayant des conséquences à la fois positives et négatives auprès des patients schizophrènes. L’auto-stigmatisation semble médiatiser les liens entre l’insight et la dépression. Par ailleurs, les patients psychiatriques médico-légaux sont particulièrement exposés aux stigmates liés aux troubles mentaux mais aussi à l’histoire criminelle. Le but de cette recherche est donc d’étudier les liens entre l’insight, l’auto-stigmatisation, l’estime de soi, l’observance thérapeutique et la dépression auprès de patients schizophrènes hospitalisés au sein d’un hôpital psychiatrique sécurisé.
