Résumé

The previous literature on the recognition of facial expressions in different types of dementia was mostly conducted with psychological tests, but the potential abnormal electrical activity of the brain during such recognition has not yet been well studied. The present study aimed to investigate how the cognitive impairment affects facial expression perception in different types of mild cognitive impairment and dementia with the methodology of EEG event-related oscillations.
